Overview

South London Foot Clinic needed to move away from an older Kajabi website and onto a more flexible WordPress setup ahead of an upcoming marketing campaign. The aim was to give the clinic a stronger design foundation, a more practical content platform, and a site structure that could better support ongoing marketing activity.

Brief

The brief was to migrate the existing Kajabi website into WordPress while also redesigning the front end so the clinic would be in a stronger position for its next campaign. This was not just a platform switch. The project also needed to improve presentation, make future content updates more manageable, and protect existing visibility as much as possible during the transition.

An important requirement was preserving organic search traction. Because the site already had established URLs and search history, extensive 301 redirects were planned and implemented to reduce disruption and help retain Google performance through the migration.

Approach

We rebuilt the website in WordPress so the clinic would have a more practical long-term CMS than Kajabi for service-led marketing pages, structural SEO work, and ongoing content changes. At the same time, we redesigned the visual presentation to make the site feel more credible, modern, and aligned with the level of trust expected in a healthcare setting.

The migration work involved carefully transferring core content into the new structure rather than simply copying over old pages unchanged. This made it possible to improve the layout, page hierarchy, and overall usability while preparing the website for campaign traffic and future landing-page expansion.

To protect search equity during the move, we carried out extensive 301 redirect mapping from the legacy Kajabi URLs to the new WordPress equivalents. That redirect work was a key part of the project because it helped preserve existing traction on Google and reduced the risk of losing valuable indexed paths during launch.

Outcome

The project is live as an active work in progress rather than a finished showcase. The new WordPress website already provides South London Foot Clinic with a stronger platform for the upcoming marketing campaign, while giving the business a more robust structure for SEO, content management, and future growth.

Development is still ongoing, so the current site should be viewed as an in-progress build rather than the final polished end state. Even so, the migration away from Kajabi, the redesigned frontend direction, and the completed 301 redirect work have already established a much better foundation for the next stage of marketing.

Notes

This project is a good example of why website migrations need to be treated as both a design and SEO exercise. Moving from Kajabi to WordPress created more room for growth, but the redirect strategy was equally important in helping protect existing Google traction while the new site continues to be refined.
